Weigh-in: Week 1
Yay! I lost 4lbs this week! I got in my exercise daily, which felt great! I didn’t feel deprived since I still went out when I felt like it (picking more responsible items off the menu), but I didn’t limit myself to “health food.” The reality is I’m not going to “diet;” I’m simply focusing on cutting calories and I’m not going to be overly-concerned about where every single calorie comes from. For me, that just makes weight-loss to much of a chore and my mind begins bargaining with itself (risk vs. reward), and inevitable the downfall comes. So this time ’round, I’m only going super-strict when absolutely necessary (ex-the unavoidable plateau). The rest of the time, I’m going to live my life normally, but more consciously. My goals for the coming week are:
-1500 calories (or less) daily
-25 minute (minimum) on Wii Fit daily
-250 calories burned (minimum) on tredmill 6x
-Drink 2 bottles of water daily (out of my large water bottle)
-Take my vitamin daily
-Break out of the 170’s (currently 171)

Sounds like a good plan and I love your attitude (not to mention your weight loss graph)!

4 lbs is amazing!!!!! congrats…hey I’ve been in the 170s for MONTHS…mostly my own fault but you breaking out of them makes me want it too SO bad!
well done on the 4lbs! you have done so well already, i was 225 when I started and can’t imagine being 171, wow!! Maybe some day!!
